Role:Trip Reconciler/Dispatcher Location:Huddersfield

Summary of the role:

As Trip Reconciler you will provide support to the order delivery process through the accurate real time trip reconciliation of all deliveries. The ideal candidate will have experience of being the first point of contact for post- delivery reconciliation issues. The purpose of this role is to support the planning team in monitoring and communicating changes to the work plan to ensure full utilisation. This will include providing a high quality service focused on resolving customer issues via both phone calls and email. Trip Reconcilers will also be required to assist with the delivery point defect reporting process entering and resolving issues in a timely and safe manner, and ensuring our invoices are accurate.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with logistics experience to move to an industry leading third party logistics provider in a specialist sector.

Hours of work: Working a shift pattern of an average of 37.5 hours per week that covers days, nights and weekends.

Salary range: £19,000 – £21,000 per annum.

Essential: The successful individual will –

·Have the ability to work a shift pattern that covers mornings, evenings, nights and weekends.

·Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and organisational skills.

·Be proficient in IT, particularly Microsoft Office – Outlook and Excel.

·Have the ability to interpret data accordingly and to prioritise tasks in line with business needs.

·Be flexible in their working hours, and have the ability to cover shifts on a 24/7 operation.

·Be a team player who is able to work to pressurised individual and shared deadlines.

·Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships.

·Have a good use of intuition and problem solving skills for productive outcomes.
